Jacobs23things

Welcome to my 23 Things blog! But what is / are 23 Things? Well, it is a course designed to help students be exposed to many useful tools for academia in the online universe. Each post, or Thing, focuses on one of these tools, though Things 2 & 3 aren't actually anything as they didn't involve any blog posts for the program. For more information see: https://23things2019.wordpress.com/

About Me

My photo
Jacob Pimenta-Richardson
A little bit about me; well, I'm a Christian, and have been since my second year at University. I hope to go on mission one day, but not sure when that'll be. I completed an integrated Masters course in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Surrey, and because I love it there so much, I'm now studying for an Engineering Doctorate in Micro- and Nano- Materials Technologies. It's hard work, and I severely underestimated it! God is good. All the time. He'll get me through. In my spare time I like to play guitar, watch movies, play board games, play football, build stuff (like shelves), read books (mainly theological ones, but I'm also slowly wading through 'The Two Towers'.) Oh and cooking, I like to cook. Since lock-down I've attempted roast dinners, and they're actually not going too badly!
